Cape Town has not seen many club concerts with this much talent on the line up. On the 28th of March 2015 (pay day!), I Wish U WUD Ent hosts the first club concert of the SHOW N PROVE MMXV series, at Hectic on Hope (better known to many loyalists as 'Evol'). The venue is perfect for this type of gig, it's grunge interior matched by an intimate stage provides the perfect atmosphere for a Hip-Hop showpiece. A step down stairs and you find the perfect environment to play pool and some fooseball as you wait to see your favorite artist on show for the night. CALLEY (@Ayo_Calley)

Founder of I Wish U WUD Ent/Rapper

 

You'll find him on the last verse of the local hit Sgub'sesmantana or on mixtape sites like offtheave.com, mixtapefactory.com and datpiff.com. With two mixtapes out in just 3 months, he has boasted a reputation in Hip-Hop circle in the city. With more to come from him in 2015, #SPMMXV will be a good place to witness his ability and potential.

 

Kid Koncept (@Kid_Koncept)

Rapper/Urban fashion enthusiast

 

Kid Koncept's lyrical ability and flow is very rare, and you could only find anything close to it somewhere in the cluster of the Wu-Tang Clan. His mostly been known to feature in a few underground tracks next to Cape Town's up-and-coming Rap artists. He's currently working on his debut mixtape, to get a taste of what it will bring to the game come through to SPMMXV!

 

BLUEZ (@iamBluez)

Producer/DJ/He Can Rap Too!

 

His studio is big enough to fit a massive number of - 3 people, but what comes out of that basement (bedroom!) is nothing short of incredible. Bluez has made a name for himself as a respected Deep House DJ, approaching the art more as a student than a know-it-all. People first caught a wind of his talent in producing Hip-Hop beats when he collaborated with Calley on Dreams N Things. After that, it has been straight fire coming from him. He has a talent in rapping too, using intricate rhymes to challenge your knowledge of life on hard-hitting grunge beats. Look out for his set at #SPMMXV
